Contractions and a child sick

Last night I started having some contractions. The contractions started when I was coming off my medicine so as soon as the medicine kicked in they stopped. They lasted about an hour. Sorry I havent wrote in a couple of days but my husband has been able to come stay with me at the hospital after work since Sunday. Two kids are on vacation and Tanner is staying the week with grandma. We have know about this week for about a month. I have been so excited to have him here when I go to sleep and then again when I wake up. We snuggled in the bed and watched movies together. I loved every minute! Today, we received a call Tanner is throwing up and he wont really eat since Sunday. So hubby took him to the doctor and his reflux is just flared. So that one week I was looking forward to spending every night with hubby has been cut short. Why is that? I knew it was too good to be true. Alone time.  lol

We are trying to pick out names. There are a few we like but nothing in stone. Please give me any suggestions! I like names that you don’t hear every often. Hope to hear from you with your suggestion!

About quintsofkentuckiana

Hello and Welcome to the Kessinger-Clark Family! My name is Christy and my wonderful husbands name is Bill. We currently have three children. Ty is 9 yrs old, Tayleigh is 5 yrs old, and Tanner is 2 yrs old. Tanner has Down Syndrome but is the light of our family! My husband works as a IT network administrator and I quit working as a HR Manager when Tanner was 6 months old due to him being the hospital so many times. We decided to have just one more child but found out we are expecting QUINTUPLETS. No we did not do invetro or see an RE doctor. I had my IUD taken out, took some medication that was herbal and over the counter, and medicine for enlarged ovaries. But the medication was at the lowest doseage. Now we are trying to figure out how we are going to manage such a large family!

I picked A,B,C names with my triplets so I could always remember where I carried them when I was pregnant. We went with Athena, Bella and Ciera. It also helps to line them up in the cribs in A,B,C,D,E order. It just made keeping everyone straight in the beginnging a little easier. I also got a 3 subject notepad binder for keeping track of eating and poopies. My husband made fun of how strict I was about writing everything down, but I was too exhausted to remember anything. If it wasn’t written, I didn’t remember it happening. The binder also helps if you have other people helping you out. I am sorry you had to go into the hospital, but it sounds like with all of your contractions you are in a good place. How many weeks are you now? I will feel less nervous for you when those babies are 25 weeks. Take good care of yourself.

Okay, don’t ask for name suggestions unless you want me giving you plenty. Our daughter is due next month with a boy and I have been giving her boy name suggestions. Will have to get my girl names together later for you 🙂
Boy: Reid, Reese, Ryker, Ryder, Gage, Camden, Hampton, Harrison, Mitchell

Someone also suggested my A, B, C, D, E idea. Putting them in the cribs in that order will be helpful, too.
Some of my suggestions are kind of old fashioned: Annabelle, Alexandra, Allyson, Adam, Alex; Bethany, Bella, BethAnn, Benjamin, Brandon; Carlee, Camille, Cary, Camden; Deena, Diana, Damon, Dexter; Emma, Ellie, Evan, Eric.

    • I never thought about the abcde before. I will really have to consider doing that. I dont know if I can come up with a name with each letter. We will have to work on this! Thank you. Have fun tomorrow with my hubby. Keep him in line! lol

Sorry your alone time was cut short! I know you are treasuring every moment you can before the little ones make an appearance! I am still up for grabs for helping when the babies come home! I understand a good friend of mine (Debbie) who volunteers with your friend at the hospital had lunch with you a couple of weeks ago and put in a good word for me! Please contact me if you want to! Still sending lots of prayers your way!

    • Yes Debbie is sweet. I enjoyed having lunch with her. Also I think I know one of your neighbors. Kim K is was Tanners Physical Therapist. Do you know her? Would love to have your help and please keep the prayers coming! Please keep us in mind when the babies come home!

I am so sorry it didn’t work out with Bill getting to stay with you! I will keep the kids for a few days this week if you like so he can stay with you! I know you were looking forward to it!

  11. Jessica Broy says:

I like the names Declan, Hayden, and Brayden for boys. I loved the name Cadence when I was preggo with Syd, but hubby wouldn’t go for it. I like Avery, Caris, Bryleigh also.

  12. Karen says:

I came across your family after reading the paper. I think your family is beautiful and an inspiration.
I love picking out baby names. Only have one child, Shianne and know no one that is pregnant so figured I would chime in on yours. I don’t know which one of yours is going to be a boy so I just chose ABCDE names without any order of who is the boy.
    Alexis, Breanna, Caytlin, Dalton, Elisha
I also like Arianna, Brayden, Cyra, Dyanna, Evan, Alisha, Brenda, Cierra… that is just the top of my list.
I will be praying for you and your family.
