Sleep!

On Friday I had to go back to the doctors. I am still having issues with my incision. So they biopsied a few areas. The doctor doesn’t know what it is so I am really wanting to know the results. We should get the results next friday when I return back to the doctor. I am taking a few medications and they are making me even more tired. I am in sooo much pain, sometimes I wonder if its going to end. I lay in bed the few hours I do get of sleep and just cry because of the pain. The doctor gave me pain medicine but it’s not helping.

I am soooooo grateful for my mother in law. On Friday she came over to help with the 10 o’clock feeding. Then decided she was going to take the babies home with her and let us have the first night of sleep since they have been home. How wonderful it was. We take sleep for granted until you don’t get it anymore. But it was hard letting them go. I really missed them.

Saturday was Ty and Tayleigh’s fall festival. We had a blast. We played the cake walk game, haunted house, and ate a steak dinner. The auction was a big hit again this year. We bought a family photography session. I can’t wait. They will actually come to our home. I thought that would be a lot easier than getting everyone ready and heading to a studio.

I hope everyone had a great weekend and enjoyed the weather!

About quintsofkentuckiana

Hello and Welcome to the Kessinger-Clark Family! My name is Christy and my wonderful husbands name is Bill. We currently have three children. Ty is 9 yrs old, Tayleigh is 5 yrs old, and Tanner is 2 yrs old. Tanner has Down Syndrome but is the light of our family! My husband works as a IT network administrator and I quit working as a HR Manager when Tanner was 6 months old due to him being the hospital so many times. We decided to have just one more child but found out we are expecting QUINTUPLETS. No we did not do invetro or see an RE doctor. I had my IUD taken out, took some medication that was herbal and over the counter, and medicine for enlarged ovaries. But the medication was at the lowest doseage. Now we are trying to figure out how we are going to manage such a large family!

I am so sorry you are having trouble with your incision, I hope they find out soon, what it is. I am glad that you got some sleep, you must have a wonderful mother-in-law, hope that I am that good to mine, I try. Sounds like my grandaughter might go to the same school as your two.

I have been following your blog since I “accidentally” stumbled upon
it just after your babies were born. I have been praying for you as I
know that you are in a wonderful, yet hard place right now…..

I, too, had incisional pain after the c-section delivery of my first baby.
I could not even get out of bed. I slept in a recliner for weeks.
As weird as this sounds, there was a huge blood clot “stuck” in my
cervix. This may not help you at all, but I thought I would mention
it. I will continue to pray for you.
